Help Us Open a Drop-In Center in Detroit
We are seeking to raise $200,000 to purchase a home that will become a Drop-In Center in the heart of our outreach area in Detroit.
Our desire in opening this center is deeply intentional: to create stronger, more meaningful connections with people who need them most. A stable, welcoming environment will allow us to move beyond brief interactions and build deeper relationships rooted in trust, consistency, and care.
This Drop-In Center will be a safe and dignified space where the women we serve can find hot meals, clothing, showers, and access to computers for job searches, applications, and essential paperwork. We will also provide support in navigating treatment programs, obtaining IDs and birth certificates, and enrolling in medical insurance. As partnerships allow, we hope to offer on-site nursing services for HIV and STD testing.
Located directly within our outreach area, this center will allow us to meet our friends where they already are and offer consistent, compassionate support.

Please keep in consideration when building your package that the young women involved with us typically have limited space or on the move. Please place your sandwiches, fruit/veggies in ziplock bags. Please place bagged items and any other snack items in a brown lunch bag. When your lunches are ready please drop them off at Faith Lutheran Church before
1 pm on Thursdays and noon on Fridays. If you can not drop the lunches
off, a member of our team will pick them up for you.
